Deposits
Deposits are required (unless specifically waived) when booking an appointment for
- dental treatment or surgical procedures to be done under IV sedation. This is because we had to make special arrangement to engage an independent, qualified anaesthetist to perform the IV sedation and to monitor the patient's vital signs during the treatment. We will need to pay for the wasted appointment time should patient failed to show up for their appointment or failed to give sufficient notice to allow other patient to fill the slot.
- long procedures requiring 1 hour or more
- procedures requiring pre-treatment preparations on our part (example pre-procedure assessment, preparation of surgical stents, procedures requiring non standard materials/equipment that needs to be specially ordered.)

Treatment Packages
We normally invoice for a treatment package on the day you sign up for the package. Payment is expected at point of billing (which usually is the day you sign up).
When you sign up for a package the fee is for the whole package. The package fee usually represents a substantial reduction compared to if the services were to be paid for on an itemized basis. There is no refund for services you might choose not to use.

Orthodontic Package Payment Schedule
The usual payment schedule for braces packages (where a package fee has been agreed upon) is -
$500 first visit (includes consult + records taking),
$1500 -2000 on the next visit (usually the day we bond the brackets)
The balance of the package amount is payable in monthly installments of $200-500. Please note that the installments are monthly and NOT "per visit". For your convenience we do not usually require you to make a separate visit to make payments but this may affect the amount due each treatment visit.
If you are unsure about proceeding with treatment on the first visit, a consultation fee of $50-100 will be charged. (which may be deductible if you proceed with any braces package on the next visit)
Fees for orthodontic treatment carried out on a "per visit" or "al a carte" basis is billed and payable at the point the treatment is rendered.
Can I pay for my Orthodontic treatment using Medisave?
No, at present, CPF rules do not allow orthodontic treatment to be charged to your Medisave account.
